Our playschool is licensed under the Alberta Early Learning and Childcare Act, which means we can offer fee subsidies and you are assured of a quality program inspected yearly.
Our mission is to provide every child in our community the opportunity for an affordable, high-quality, challenging and play-based early education, while working closely with families, the community, West Meadow Elementary staff and the School Division. The program implements “Flight- Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Curriculum Framework.

Advantages of our Community Run Program
A Day at
Playschool
Our play school day starts with outdoor play. We then transition inside and our time includes:
- circle time activities: including stories, songs and gross motor movement
- craft time: a time to practice fine motor skills
- play time: when children learn through play with our different centers which change often with different themes.
While these are typical days, we do have special and fun activity days as well as field trips throughout the year.
Breanna
Seeman
Breanna has her Level 2 ECE and is currently finishing her Level 3 online. This is her first year teaching Playschool but is so far loving it! The favourite part of Ms. B’s day is when she’s reading with the children, or the after snack dance party! She loves getting to know the children and making them feel confident and proud of themselves.
Holly
Schmid
Holly has her ECE Level 1. Holly has many years experience teaching Playschool. She loves to help the children improve their fine motor skills. Mrs. S.’s superpower is being awesome in emergencies or if a child is sick or has an issue.
